HELEN SCHEURER a breakout Indie Romantasy star has licensed a new Series in the UK to Bramble. The first in the series, IRON & EMBERS will be released on January 28, 2025.

CLARE SAGER recently sold her fully published series BENEATH BLACK SAILS to Podium. These Romantasy novels set on the high seas are set to release starting in Spring 2025. At the end of the month she is publishing A PROMISE OF LIES, the thrilling conclusion to her SHADOWS OF TENEBRIS COURT series.

We’re thrilled to see the outstanding success of breakout Romantasy author CARISSA BROADBENT. Rights have been sold in 18 foreign territories, and we’ve secured a print deal with Bramble/Tor Publishing. The CROWNS OF NYAXIA series will relaunch in print with SERPENT AND THE WINGS OF NIGHT out December 5th! 

 

In June, we were thrilled to see that ALISON COCHRUN won the Lambda Award for LGBTQ Romance and Erotica for KISS HER ONCE FOR ME. This queer holiday romance was a BOTM pick, got a fantastic review in the NYT and was wonderfully received by her growing readership. 

 

SELENE CASTROVILLA has a new, soon to be announced deal with Calkins Creek/Astra publishing. Bringing her lyrical writing along with her top notch research, this in depth picture book will follow the life of Henrietta Wood who was enslaved two times but eventually won her freedom and the largest reparations in US History. 

 

We’re very excited to have signed new Indie Authors for Subrights representation, a rapidly growing section of our agency. We’ve secured foreign deals for Thriller author NOELLE IHLI (Germany) and audio deals for HELEN SCHEUERER and LAURETTA HIGNETT. We’ve just signed business writer DEREK BORTHWICK. 

 

JOHN SCALZI’s STARTER VILLAIN was piublished on September 19th and it’s proving his most successful book yet.  We’ve already sold France, Korea, Hungary and Italy.  John will be the guest of honor at Budapest’s International Book Fair in October.

Candy Fleming has added yet another award to her stellar career. Her most recent YA release MURDER AMONG FRIENDS was included in the School Library Journal Best Books of 2022!  POLAR BEAR, Fleming’s collaboration with Caldecott winner Eric Rohmann is just out with a great review in the NYT.
